LifeSpring, a community based healthcare institute dedicated to mental and physical well-being is all set to pitch their first well-being under the banner of “LifeSpring Foundation” on October 14, 2023, at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Sher-E-Bangla Nagar, Agargaon-Dhaka. With the timely theme of “Family First,” the summit aims to promote strengthening family bonding, mental health awareness, reduce stigma, provide critical education and resources, and advance policies to support family and community wellness.

Since its founding in 2017, LifeSpring has been on a mission to redefine mental healthcare by making it more accessible, affordable, and holistic for all Bangladeshis, both rural and in urban centers. The organization was born out of the vision that quality mental health services should be integrated into the social fabric to fully support healthy communities.

LifeSpring provides counseling, education, research, and wraparound services focused on awareness building, stigma reduction, gender inclusivity, and social integration. It offers expertise across a spectrum of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, and other disorders. Through online platforms and on-the-ground community collaborations, LifeSpring empowers people across Bangladesh to achieve improved mental wellness.

The upcoming Well-being Summit represents a watershed moment to dramatically boost LifeSpring’s impact nationwide. With an estimated in-person audience of 2,000 attendees and a virtual audience reaching over 5 million people, the event reflects the tremendous appetite for advancing mental health solutions throughout the country. As a participant in the event, you will get a participation Certificate, Expert interactions, Coffee, Snacks, Gifts, and a 20% Discount on any services (for 30 days).

The lineup of distinguished speakers includes government officials, researchers, legal experts, practitioners, policymakers, and community leaders invested in improving mental healthcare. Through presentations, panel discussions, and working groups, the summit is set to address specific mental health conditions relevant to families such as depression, anxiety, addiction, and trauma. Participants will have the opportunity to increase their understanding of mental health, gain tools to support loved ones, and get involved in reducing stigma in their communities.

Apart from this, the highlight of the event will be the inaugural “LifeSaver Awards,” recognizing talented healthcare professionals of Bangladesh for their invaluable contributions to the practicing field. Additionally, tangible recommendations and action plans will be developed to shape mental health policies, research endeavors, and best practices going forward. At the end, we all need a family awareness & bonding as the mental health challenges increasing worldwide in the wake of the pandemic, the summit will spark solutions that attending professionals can apply directly within their own institutions, agencies, and clinical practices to better support the mental health needs of Bangladeshi families.
