North South University Social Services Club (NSUSSC), one of the prominent clubs of North South University, will organize a monumental event to show their respect and love and create awareness among the young generation for their parents. The event is titled “ONUSHONGO,” in which the students spend their day with elderly people living in an old home apart from their families.
The event will be held at an old Rehabilitation Center located at Monipur, Hotapara in Gazipur, on 14th October 2022. NSUSSC team members are persistent in enjoying the whole day with the residents. Additionally, the NSUSSC team will distribute medicines, walkers, wheelchairs, and necessary goods among the older community as a gesture of love.
Matter of fact is, “ONUSHONGO” is one of the elite events from the North South University Social Service Club. As a society, we should put our best efforts into caring for the elderly. Even if only for a day, the energy of the youth can help them foster a sense of community.
