Shwapno's First Export Shipment Reached Hong Kong on Sunday

Bangladesh’s largest super shop retail chain Shwapno sent its first shipment to Hong Kong On March 31st, kicking off its export journey. And the day before yesterday, it was sent out its second shipment. The first shipment included 26 types of vegetables and fruits, including pointed gourds, ladyfingers, green mangoes, potatoes, and bitter gourds. 

Saiful Alam, Shwapno’s team leader, and export initiative consultant said, “Shwapno’s first shipment that arrived in Hong Kong on Sunday included Bottle Gourds that are Global GAP Certified. Even though we have exported other things in the past, we have added mangoes to our export category this time. Last Sunday, we exported 100 kg of ‘Gobindhobhog’ mangoes from select Satkhira orchards to Hong Kong. We accomplished this with the aid of Solidarity Network Asia.”
