FitFuture: A New Dawn for Bangladesh’s Future Leaders

The air at LORDS – An English Medium School was alive with excitement and optimism. Over 65 young students gathered, eager and full of energy, as they embarked on a journey that could shape their futures in ways far beyond the classroom.

This wasn’t just another school activity—it marked the official launch of “FitFuture”, an ambitious initiative by JCI Dhaka Founders, in collaboration with JCI Junior Club, aimed at building a generation that’s healthier in body, stronger in mind, and brighter in spirit.

A Mission Beyond Fitness

FitFuture goes beyond traditional fitness programs. It’s a movement to educate and empower young minds about health, wellness, and positive lifestyle choices. Students aged 10 to 16 took part enthusiastically, guided by their teachers and principal, who proudly supported this vision of transformation.

The program focused on four key pillars of youth development:

  • Raising awareness on common yet overlooked health issues such as PCOS, thyroid disorders, and IBS.
  • Encouraging a positive mindset to strengthen mental well-being.
  • Promoting daily fitness routines to build physical endurance and discipline.
  • Inspiring nutritious eating habits, starting with simple changes in their school tiffin boxes.

“This is not just exercise; this is change,” said members of JCI Dhaka Founders, underlining the program’s larger social impact.

Community Collaboration and Leadership

The success of the launch was fueled by the support and partnership of several organizations including NJ Eat And Fit, Caretutors, English Therapy, and Green Grocery.

Special appreciation was extended to NJ Nahray Jannat, Masud Parvez Raju, and Saiful Rahman for their contribution, and heartfelt gratitude to Talukder Mohammad Shabbir and Saiful Islam, whose leadership and vision turned the idea of FitFuture into reality.

The Road Ahead: A Vision for 2025

The FitFuture initiative is only getting started. The roadmap for 2025 includes bold and measurable goals:

  • Engaging 1,000+ teenagers across 5 or more schools in Dhaka and beyond.
  • Establishing FitFuture Clubs on school campuses to ensure long-term engagement.
  • Hosting the first-ever FitFuture Carnival in November 2025, Insha’Allah.

For JCI Dhaka Founders, FitFuture is not just a project—it’s a national promise to nurture stronger, healthier, and more confident future leaders of Bangladesh.

“Today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders. Their health defines the strength of Bangladesh. To build a brighter future, we must first build healthier youth,” the organization shared in its closing remarks.

Planting the Seeds of a Healthier Nation

With passion, purpose, and strong partnerships, FitFuture is setting the stage for long-term change. The initiative is inspiring children to take charge of their well-being—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Because, as the team behind FitFuture believes, “A healthier child today means a stronger nation tomorrow.”
