Team Trio Claims Victory at East-West University's "Sales Sprint 2.0"

The Agro-Industrialization Club of East-West University hosted a thrilling sales competition called “Sales Sprint 2.0” on April 20th, 2024. This intra-university event, now in its second season, witnessed a fierce battle among 75 participating teams competing for the top spot.

After a series of rigorous rounds, the top seven teams emerged victorious and advanced to the final round held on the same day. In a nail-biting finale, “Team Trio” outshined their competitors, clinching the coveted champion title. “Team Blue Bloods” secured the first runner-up position, while “Team Sandworm” claimed the second runner-up spot.

The competition was divided into four phases, with the first two phases consisting of workshops designed to equip participants with essential knowledge about the sales and retail industry, as well as case-solving strategies. The third and fourth phases put the teams’ skills to the ultimate test as they tackled real-world sales and retail cases received via email.

A distinguished panel of sales experts, including Nusrat Jahan Trissa (Manager, Enterprise Business, AxEnTec plc), Tarif Mohammed Khan (Head of Communications, Dekko ISHO Venture Capital, and COO, Discovery One Ltd.), and Mehjabin Badhon (Growth Consultant, Business & Marketing, Creative Business Group), presided over the competition, ensuring fair and objective evaluation.

The event garnered significant support from various partners, including Deepto TV as the Media Partner, Practitioners Academy as the Strategic Partner, Business Inspection BD as the Online Media Partner, eduXpert as the Knowledge Partner, Banik Barta as the Print Media Partner, and Radio Carnival as the Online Radio Partner.
