AKij Plastics is ready to diversify its export destination to Nepal, Bhutan, and United States after successfully exploring the Indian market.
Akij Plastic began operations in 2016. Sheikh Nasir Uddin, chairman of the Akij Group said, “Since launching the company six years ago, Akij Plastics has established a strong position in the market for plastic products in Bangladesh.”. He added, “The company is exporting goods to India after achieving tremendous success in the domestic market.” Last year, almost BDT 20 million worth of plastic goods were exported to India.
Akij Plastics arranged “The Akij Plastics Dealers’ Conference-2022” on Friday at a hotel in Cox’s Bazar town. Several officials, traders, and dignitaries of the company were present at the meeting and conveyed their opinion regarding upcoming plans. Chowdhury Hasan Tariq, Senior General Manager of Akij Plastics, said, “The dealers’ conference is being held to boost trade at home and abroad and encourage the relentless efforts of its workers and dealers.”
According to him, “The company has gained a good market share by implementing technology, modern machinery, diverse product category, and maintaining high quality.”
