JCI Dhaka Founders has taken a significant step towards empowering the next generation through its flagship initiative, Books for Change. This project is dedicated to fostering a culture of reading and lifelong learning among underprivileged children in Bangladesh.
In the latest phase of the Books for Change program, JCI Dhaka Founders has partnered with the local NGO School Choice 2 Change to distribute books and set up a community library. This initiative provides students with the resources they need to access knowledge, inspiration, and opportunities for personal and academic growth. The program was jointly implemented with Lightshore Network, showcasing a strong spirit of collaboration in driving social development and educational empowerment.

The event was further supported by dedicated partners including Caretutors, Rokomari, and media collaborators The Daily Ittefaq and Business Inspection BD, who helped amplify the message of education for all, reaching wider communities and raising awareness about the importance of education.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Local President S M Mehedi Hasan, alongside distinguished Board Members of JCI Dhaka Founders. Their participation underscored the chapter’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, leadership development, and social responsibility.
During the event, representatives from JCI Dhaka Founders emphasized the importance of books as powerful tools that go beyond simply being pages bound together. Books open minds, shape dreams, and transform futures. Through Books for Change, JCI Dhaka Founders aims to continue building opportunities for children from all backgrounds to learn, grow, and aspire to greater achievements.
A heartfelt appreciation was extended to all partners, volunteers, and supporters who contributed to the success of this initiative. Together, they continue to inspire young minds, one book at a time, ensuring that every child has access to the knowledge they deserve.
