BUP Human Resource & Leadership Club Organizes AdvantHR Season 2

BUP Human Resource & Leadership Club (BUP HRLC) successfully organized the second season of their flagship event AdventHR, a human resource-based case competition combining HR and artificial intelligence. The Grand Finale of AdventHR season 2 was held on 18th March at Bijoy Auditorium, BUP. The event aimed to provide a platform for young HR professionals to exhibit their skills and creativity. Over 452 HR enthusiasts from more than 30 universities across the country participated in AdventHR 2.0, which commenced on March 2, showcasing the growing interest and enthusiasm for HR and AI technologies among young minds in the country.

The competition provided an excellent opportunity for the participants to demonstrate their creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills, which are crucial qualities in the HR industry. It also offered them a chance to learn from industry professionals, network with peers, and gain valuable insights into the latest trends and developments in the field.

The Grand Finale witnessed numerous teams from across the country presenting their innovative ideas and solutions for HR problems by utilizing AI technologies. After several rounds of intense competition, Team Sirius from BUP emerged victorious and won the championship, while Scrutinizer and Lamestream were declared runners-up. The prize pool of BDT 100,000 was distributed among the top three teams, with the winners receiving BDT 50,000 and the runners-up receiving BDT 30,000 and BDT 20,000, respectively. The event also provided an opportunity for the participants to network with industry professionals and peers, making it a valuable learning experience.

The Grand Finale was a thrilling event, with the teams presenting their solutions in front of a panel of judges and a large audience. Esteemed guests and judges from the industry, including Syed Masud Mahmood, Khurshid Imbisat Chowdhury, Qazi Tafsirul Islam, and Hasan Taiab Imam, formed the judging panel for the competition, providing valuable insights and feedback to the participants. The presence of Professor Khondoker Mokaddem Hossain, Colonel ASM Badiul Alam, and Zulfikar Hyder added to the significance of the event and provided an opportunity for the participants to network with industry professionals and peers.
