National Geographic’s “Superfactories” Will Feature Walton on February 26th

Today National Geographic Channel’s documentary series “Superfactories.” is going to feature a Bangladeshi conglomerate, The Walton Group. The documentary will provide viewers an inside look at the production operations and success story of Bangladesh’s electronics and IT giant. 

The program showing Walton’s state-of-the-art factory in Gazipur will be aired today, February 26, at 8:30 p.m. Those who have a Dish connection of Bangladesh Cable Operator and DTH users can watch the 44-minute documentary on the channel. The show will also show Walton’s wish to assist Bangladesh become a manufacturing centre for electronics and technology products, while branding the tagline “Made in Bangladesh.”

According to Walton’s “Vision: Go Global,” after fulfilling the local demand, the company is now exporting its products to a number of other places.

Walton’s Chief Marketing Officer Mohammad Firoj Alam said: Walton has become a catalyst in the economic development of Bangladesh.
