JCI Dhaka Founders Announces New Executive Committee for 2024

The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka Founders has officially announced its new executive committee for the year 2024. The committee, consisting of sixteen vibrant young entrepreneurs, was elected during the annual general meeting held at a prestigious venue in the capital city.

Leading the charge as the President for the upcoming year is Nahid Hasan, a dynamic figure elected by the members’ vote. The executive committee comprises key individuals such as IPLP M. Asif Rahman (founding president); EVP Saidur Mamun Khan; VP Sultana Razia, Ashiqul Islam Tamal, and Amjad Shuvo; Secretary General Talukdar Md. Sabbir; Treasurer Nippon Roy; GLC Afsana Dia; Training Commissioner Shahadat Hossain Majumder. Additionally, the local directors include Nahre Jannat, Raihan Hossain, and Saiful Rahman, while the local committee chairs are Abu Huraira Bin Aman, Rifatul Haque, SM Mehdi Hasan, and Md Nazmus Shakib. Notably, Md. Fazle Munim, President of JCI BDC, presided as the Election Commissioner on behalf of JCI Bangladesh.

The announcement of the new executive committee followed the organization’s 2023 general meeting, overseen by Mr. M. Asif Rahman, the Founding Local President of JCI Dhaka Founders. In his address, he expressed gratitude to the outgoing committee and members, extending his best wishes to the incoming team.

Expressing his vision for the term, newly elected local president Mr. Nahid Hasan emphasized JCI Dhaka Founders’ commitment to identifying and addressing the daily challenges faced by young entrepreneurs. He highlighted the committee’s resolve to actively contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Notably, Mr. Nahid Hasan, the newly elected President, brings a wealth of experience as a tech entrepreneur and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Bizcop Digital Limited, a leading digital marketing agency in Bangladesh.

The event witnessed the presence of JCI Bangladesh National President Ziaul Haque, esteemed members of the National Committee, general members of JCI Dhaka Founders, and several committee members from other local chapters.
