Workshop on Mechatronics & Automation Technology to be Held in BITAC Dhaka

A national conference and workshop on Master Trainer Training in Mechatronics and Automation Technology will be held from the 5th of April to the 7th of April in the Tool and Technology Institute (TTI), BITAC Dhaka. The conference will be hosted by BITAC, Festo Didactic SE, and Sincos Automation Technologies Ltd. 

Authorized under the Ministry of Industries, the Bangladesh Industrial and Technical Assistance Center (BITAC) is an autonomous government body and research center that researches ways to improve industrial production and provides technical knowledge and assistance in Bangladesh.

Sincos Automation Technologies Ltd (SATL) is a leading company in Bangladesh for automation and industrial controls. SATL has provided various automation support from its beginning and had an exclusive partnership with FESTO in 1997 to bring pneumatics and electromechanical systems for automation in Bangladesh. Currently, the company supports almost every industry relying on automation.

Meanwhile, FESTO DIDACTIC is an ISO-certified German company providing “training modules” designed for learners interested in developing their proficiency in Industrial Automation. 

The three-day conference aims to introduce Industry 4.0 technologies to give visitors an idea about the fundamentals of automation technology. As well as provide a logical introduction to the essential uses and principles of Industry 4.0, especially for mechatronics technicians. The conference will cover MES, augmented reality, RFID, and digital product memory.  

Many influential people will, including the Chief Guest, Mr. Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun MP, Ministry of Industries, and a few special guests, Mr. N M Zeaul Alam PAA, Senior Secretary (ICT), Dr. Md. Omar Faruque, DG (DTE) ,Dr. Muhammad Humayun Kabir, Project Director (Joint Secretary will attend the program).

The conference is open to all, and the registration process will begin at 9 am. Various industries, such as national production and manufacturing industries, lighting engineering industries, etc., are expected to attend the conference with their technology team. Besides this, public universities and technical institutions will also be attending the conference and workshop to learn from the event.
