North-South University Social Service club recently launched a flood relief campaign to collect donations for the flood-ridden people in the northern area of Bangladesh.
Flash floods swept away homes and inundated farmlands due to heavy monsoon downpours in Bangladesh’s northeastern and northern regions, forcing families to seek shelter on higher ground and temporary flood shelters, while power cut is making life miserable.
Dedicated volunteers of the club already started collecting funds from students and faculties of the university. The campaign is going on from 22/06/22-28/06/2022. They’ve also set up a booth in the plaza area of the University premises for donation collection.
North South University Social Services Club (NSUSSC) had also organized a 3-day long blood donation drive at its campus from the 29th of March to the 31st of March in collaboration with the Quantum Foundation.
