Pubali Bank PLC, in partnership with BRAC University’s Finance and Accounting Club (FINACT), has launched EXCELERATE 2025, one of Bangladesh’s largest finance-centric Excel competitions for university students.
FINACT, widely known as one of BRAC University’s most active student organisations, has consistently worked to sharpen students’ financial, analytical, and professional abilities by bridging classroom knowledge with real-world practice. Through EXCELERATE 2025, the club aims to extend that impact to a broader national platform.
Targeting students with an interest in finance, data analysis, Excel, Power BI, and corporate problem-solving, the competition will be hosted at the BRAC University campus. Participation is expected from universities across the country, making it a major cross-institutional academic and skill-building event.
Event Format
The competition will take place in three rounds:
- Grid Master (8–11 December 2025 | Online)
Participants will face timed Excel tasks designed to evaluate speed, accuracy, formula expertise, and structured problem-solving. - Data Dynamics (14–19 December 2025 | Online Submission & Offline Presentation)
Teams will work with real-world datasets, develop insight-based reports, and present their analysis before a judging panel in a physical session. - The Dashboard Duel (23–28 December 2025)
Finalists will create and present advanced business dashboards using Excel or Power BI. Performance will be judged on technical strength, analytical depth, and clarity of presentation.
Prizes
The total prize pool for EXCELERATE 2025 is Tk 2.5 lakh, including a gold bar.
- First Prize: Tk 1,10,000
- Second Prize: Tk 80,000
- Third Prize: Tk 60,000
In addition, participants will compete for two special awards, and selected teams will receive access to two professional skill-development workshops.

Teams of one to four members can register, and students from different universities are permitted to form joint teams.
