TED is a non-profit media organization that hosts talks all around the world with the intention of educating people about global issues. The organization began its journey in 1984 with the mission to spread ideas. Its slogan – “ideas worth spreading” – perfectly encapsulates the purpose of TED.
The conference showcased several TED Talks, the marque featurettes of TED events, with the goal of sparking groundbreaking new ideas, sharing heart-touching experiences, and inspiring others to build a brighter future for our country. The speakers at the event presented several different thoughts and concepts with the hope of starting a conversation among the different communities that represent the student body of North South University.
